3. Account Registration

For subscription-based services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. For one-time services or consultancy, no account registration is required.

4. Fees and Payment

  • Subscription-based services: Payments for subscription services (such as WordPress maintenance) are processed via Stripe. All fees for these services are due upon subscription and will automatically renew unless canceled.

  • One-time and IT consultancy services: Payments for one-time services or IT consultancy are made via bank transfer. Invoices will be provided upon completion of the service, and payment is due upon receipt.

5. Subscription and Cancellation Policy

  • Subscription Plans: For managed WordPress maintenance services, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support @ octopus-ict.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for subscription-based WordPress maintenance services. No refunds are provided for partial months of service after cancellation.

6. Use of Services

You agree to use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the services to engage in any illegal activities
  • Disrupt or interfere with the services or networks connected to the services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems

7. Service-Level Agreements (SLA)

For our managed WordPress hosting and maintenance services, we guarantee a response time within 3 business days for all support requests. Due to reliance on third-party services (such as hosting providers and WordPress itself), we do not guarantee any specific uptime or performance metrics. Our responsibility is limited to responding and taking action on issues reported within the 3-day response window.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Octopus ICT or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any material from this site without our prior written permission.

9. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octopus ICT  is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from your use of our services or inability to use the services. This includes, but is not limited to, downtime or performance issues due to third-party service providers.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be settled under the laws of Hong Kong in the courts of Hong Kong.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if we believe you are in violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately.

12. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the services after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
